well tehbunneh, im thinking and currently planning something that will act as a transport box for reptiles and other temp dependant animals around using peoples cigarette socket as a plug for a small heating system, if that interests anyone, let me know.

Corns are pretty resiliant, and don't always need their heat 24/7. If you were gonna take one, just put him in a box with maybe some polystyrene around it, and that would keep in enough warmth till you take him out - I've heard rumours of people putting snakes in pillow cases to transport them too, but that seems a little bit worrisome, if the case comes apart in the care. A RUB is probably the best method of transport (I have travelled from breeder's houses and conventions to home on the train with a snake just in their little RUBs)!

id love to come. im a fair way away but dont have any herp friends so would be cool. maybe a silly question but how do you transport snakes if your taking them to a show/ meet etc?
ilovemypets1988 Posted - 26/01/2011 : 23:02:53
well if i get enough people replying to this, i will try to book the local community centres hall for a get together, but it entirley depends on how many peoples interested
ilovemypets1988 Posted - 26/01/2011 : 22:56:30
yh true, i mean, as long as people are interested in getting together, i dont mind whether they bring snake, lizzard or any reptiles tbh and others aswel

When I'm down that way at a similar time to meet-up's, I'd certainly like to check it out! Perhaps broaden it to other herps too, so you get a broader number of people interested ^^
