Well it sounds a bit strange, but does anyone know if clear contact paper would be safe to put inside a vivarium?

I am designing a background out of spaceboard, but instead of making it deserty or jungly, I'm going to put some kind of drawing on it (inspired by a graffiti one I have seen) and the easiest way I figure to do it, is wallpaper the spaceboard, draw on the wallpaper, then cover in contact paper instead of varnish (to put the colours running etc...)
Tried Google but it came back with places selling contact adhesives lol.
Anyone know if its safe to use? :)

I got my artist hat on too today ;) Although my viv now looks like a seven year old's hamster cage! Colourful plastic all over the place.. :P And i managed to break my exo terra rock outcrop background so now the snakes have a Leinster rugby flag as their wallpaper:P
Good luck with your project Dan, hope to see a pic sooner rather than later:)

Nah there isn't any chemical stuff on it I don't think.
I think I would live if I licked it lol, but just wondered if anyone else had used it.
And yeah it does look like a good design idea, plus with me being an artist, I'm pretty sure I can do some good designs on them too.
Plus I may be able to actually sell them in future... Possibly :/

hmmmm....i cant see why not as nothing on the surface is actually a chemical or anything is it? dont kno how practicle itll be to clean or how well itll cope with the heat and humidity tho but sounds like an awesome design idea!
