Well been to my local reptile shop today just to idley look at getting a male to pair with my new female.
They have 2 male snows in, one is proven the other isn't.
The proven is 4-5 years old, held him today, hes a decent size but has a slight kind of kink in the end of his tail, been told it doesn't affect him at all.
And the unproven is slightly smaller but he told me ready for breeding.
They want £80 each, just wondering if this seems a fair price?

I'm not sure about going for the proven over none proven, Because of the kink, it's not so much a kink, as kind of I don't know how to explain, like swelling...
Kind of little balls inside his tail that are too big (and by balls I know hes male but reframe from making jokes)...
Plus £80 to me sounded a little high, if I could get one for a little bit less off a private breeder.
And yes Mike, he would eventually be breeding with my female Normal.

for a shop price, 80 quid isnt too bad, especially for an adult, however, if you have a choice between the two, go for the breeder, that way if you ever want to breed, you have a male that knows what hes doing, which is as beneficial as it sounds.

A lot of adult males i've seen not in shops go for about £50
Shop prices are always more expensive

Yeah I know I can get younger ones cheaper, but not sure what an adult really goes for...
