I'm like a new mum with a baby at home.

Last night I woke at 2am and had to go and check on Nimbus! I wanted to check his warm side temps were ok as I was so worried the temps would go too high or too low even though I have a stat lol

Needless to say he was fine and temps are spot on so I needn't have worried. I still got straight up this morning and ran down to check on him though lol

Anyone else do this when they got their first snake?

yeah its fine to worry as i did for the first week or so. But then i realised that int he wild theyd be under a rock somehwere... hiding form predators. a nice heated box is failry cushy byu snake standards....

haha yeah I was like that. I'm like that with my crestie now! Izzy still gets attention though, I'll always check on her if I'm walking about the flat.

yes, every day, we went away for 4 days recently and I couldn't sleep as I was worried Tiko would poo in his water bowl/escape/regurg/die/anything else terrible. As far as I can see this is perfectly normal behaviour for snake owners!

Lol,you are a true snake owner now.
I still still check on them as soon as I've come downstairs and I've had Loki since the beginning of August!! I like to check the temperatures and try to spot them and their poos. I realised how much I did it when I moved Loki into the viv from the faun.
The stereo is now where is faun was and I kept glancing at the stereo!!
