I have everything needed for my Nimbus now apart from a must have item, the mat stat! I ordered it last week but due to the bad weather it's taking a while to get here.
I pick Nimbus up on wednesday and will not risk having him without a stat but also don't want to wait any longer to bring him home so.....
I will buy another stat this week from a shop, rather than online and he will be sorted. Then of course I will have an extra stat once the other one turns up......can you see where this is going?
I have lots of small tubs, kitchen roll, loo roll tubes and can easily get a heat mat so......looks like I will HAVE to get another corn snake sooner than expected  Can't have the stat just sitting there can I?? lol
I will be looking for a little diddy hatchling this time.  |

So get a king for your existing 'spare' stat, then buy another stat to keep as a spare, just in case.  |

even better would be to keep the spare stat as a spare,i keep a spare of everything including vivs,just in case,you never know when your going to need it. |

I dont blame you it would be a waste of equipment. Iv got 2 stats and 2 heat mats going un-used.....not for much longer if I can find a Royal thats local :) |

I didn't even think of a King. I still have not dared research them yet as I know what will happen. lol I had a look at brb's and now really want one!
Might do a little googling now......
EDIT: Just found the King snake forum! There is no hope for me now is there??? lol
