Posted - 25/10/2010 : 23:38:11 Have been keeping track of Izzys weight that last few weeks and she's been gaining 4 grams every week. I've been using up the smaller fluffs in the pack and giving her 2 each feeding but as they got bigger she got more full up and slept for 3 days and only came out for an hour or so each night (until the day before feeding day, when she'd be out all night!). I thought it might be better for her figure to put her back onto just 1 mouse a week again so I gave her one of the larger fluffs last week which seemed the perfect size for her. She was active most of the week and has been out for quite a while each day.
With the new diet and all the exercise you'd think she might not have gained as much weight this week but no, she's gained 5 grams instead! I'm not entirely sure how that's worked out, I guess my scales aren't that accurate so she could have gained only just been under 5 grams some weeks and slightly over this week. Good job she's not on a weight watchers course though, it would certainly be a bad start!
You could tell she was hungry today, she didn't want to waste any time constricting and actually just started eating it while I was still holding the tweezers!
