yeah kerrang does suck but not as much as the music station, always play teen rock and that :/ all about scuzz xD |

Kerrang sucks all together. It old either repeats old metal bands, the same ones as well every time or it has very annoying rock/techno/scene/emo music that all sounds the same. All the bands look the same too XD

oh god yeah it's terrible but it sure beats listening to the same 10 songs on repeat on the other stations! What do they play on the music channel? Not heard of that one. |

For ages at work we had to put up with Kiss FM and Capital playing the same damn songs over and over again! I've slowly got them to play Radio 1 now and then and on the odd day we get Kerrang :) |

plastic pop sucks big time, we're ok up here we've got Rock Radio (106.1 for anyone in manchester!) that plays classic rock all day every day so I don't have a clue what chartypooppop is around any more! :D |

i hate boybands, they sing one song about 'love' and they get top of the charts :@ its good that we all like a good bit of rock though :) |

ahh my brother likes that screaming type of music as well like the group disturbed and that haha i like bands ans singers like you me at six, paramore, all time low, coldplay, pixie lott, rihanna, beyonce, etc.. but mostly paramore though  xx |

Good to see everyone likes real music and not purely just the rubbish thats forced down our throats on the radio! :)
The general consensus so far seems to be rock/alternative which I had a slight feeling would happen. |

i will admit....i am a metal head...not fully but i love a good mosh a some awsome guitar riff with fast drums and screaming :P but yeah people just asume your someone your not as of what you do... :/ |

Well stereotypes arent always bad, its sometimes just analysing a person from aspects of their personality, but think about how you see someone who keeps a snake, I dunno if its just me but I think people expect them to like rock music and that kind of thing. But yeah, I love a lot of rap/underground etc etc but Im certainly far from the stereotype, in fact I think seeing me you would expect me to listen to chart music, I infact love classical the most and chart music doesnt tickle my fancy whatsoever. As Kehhlyr said music with a "story" I really enjoy, and stuff with a lot of emotion and explaining how a person feels about a certain situation, I love that kind of thing. I love music! :D

true that you can learn alot by someone's music...but you end up with alot of stereotypical people...i hate stereotypical people  seems everyone on here likes a good bit of rock though  |

You shouldnt ask me about music, I could talk all day. I breathe music! I play piano and I do a hell of a lot of musical theory and of course GCSE music. I love anything classical but preferably Romantic era stuff, like Chopin Schumann and Verdi, I also love Ska, Rap, Alternative, etc etc. I think my favourite stuff atm is NG Cartel, SOV and Eminem, it irritates me how Eminem releases his music thats a pile of poop and all of his good music is ignored and just plonked on an album, esp now seeing as most people dont buy an album, I do though. xD I have a real passion to music and can listen to most stuff. Anything with a story in it.
And a band, a proper band though not any of this synthesized stuff. I've not once seen any of these so called boy or girl bands with an instrument in their hands. |

any thing thats good really! dirty bass lines, casa locos, old skool hardcore, helter skelter (old) dizze rascal, wiley! then any thing from elvis to the clash! lol!!! red hot chillis and oasis also do it 4 me!! :) |

My kids are 8 and 10 and love Muse,Alice Cooper,Sisters Of Mercy and Kings Of Leon (doing my best to bring them up properly lol) |
