hey ive just got an email saying hotmail closure of your account!!!.

This mail from Windows Live Hotmail is been sent out to you account user for your safety. im useually pretty good at stopping hoax email but im not sure of this one.

Any email that asks for your password I would immediately delete.

Those hotmail emails have been going round for years, ignore it, its a complete hoax!

thanks guys. yea im getting loads of hoax emails from hsbc and stuff but this is a first for fake windows live email

Hotmail will never e-mail you about personal stuff. Only to advise bigger storage spaces and new features. If your getting hotmail hoax mails your probably going to get a load more from different places. For exmaple "HSBC" or "Natwest"

Indeed.
The date of birth and country is used as password reset as well, so If you gave them that they'd also change that info which would make it much harder to reset your password.
