OMG, just seen the news and the scum that dumped the dog, drove off and left her. Thank goodness the lot was caught on camera and the dog rescued. She's doing ok now and will end up in a good home.
What is it with some lowlife sorts? First the poor little cat in the rubbish bin now this......

If you think any of that is harsh, you should see the following link I'm about to post.
Puppies getting thrown in a river and dogs being mauled is an everyday and regular occurance compared to this next thing.

The pure disgust I felt when reading about this was only made worse by the pictures. Now I have a VERY strong stomach and could eat a jam and chocolate spread sandwich while watching an operation on intestines, but this sort of sick filth really left me feeling my roast dinner coming back up that I ate on sunday!!!

Please only look at this if you have a VERY strong stomach and are NOT of a sensitive nature.
Please don't be stupid enough to look at this with kids in the room or near you either, it's far to risky.

May I recommend PVA glue?? It always seemed to work for that happy fellow on Art Attack!
josh9961 Posted - 24/09/2010 : 01:12:40
Sounds tricky. Wish you luck with it old chap.

Still sort-of underway, the skin is back in the freezer and has been for a while now while I'm waiting to figure out the best way to finish it at home with none of the proper equipment.
josh9961 Posted - 23/09/2010 : 14:32:03
Was this for the wallet project? Did you finish it or is it still underway?
Kehhlyr Posted - 23/09/2010 : 14:05:26
So soften him up a bit so I could skin him. It's much easier to skin then.
josh9961 Posted - 23/09/2010 : 09:25:27
To what ends kehhlyr?
Kehhlyr Posted - 23/09/2010 : 00:27:28
I suppose this would be the wrong place to mention that I did microwave my cornsnake as well.
Katie.Dublin Posted - 23/09/2010 : 00:18:04
Ever tried a micro-snake Kehhlyr? Crispier than you'd expect!
josh9961 Posted - 23/09/2010 : 00:17:46
I have personally found that giraffes make perfect microwave specimens and yield more than satisfactory results.
Sta~ple Posted - 23/09/2010 : 00:05:45
What were these animals?
Kehhlyr Posted - 22/09/2010 : 23:59:38
Nope, they just heated up absolutely fine. they did get VERY hot though.
Sta~ple Posted - 22/09/2010 : 23:55:40
What was your findings, did they explode?
Kehhlyr Posted - 22/09/2010 : 23:37:25
I've put loads of animals in the microwave. I actually don't see the issue with it.

I know this is going to sound mean but I did laugh when I read this. I'm not a mean person, honest I just imagined it to explode like if you defrost a mouse.

I want to know who paid for the postmortum. I know papers aren't to be trusted 100% but it said he's been drinking all day and he's unemployed, it's not like they would have the money for it unless benefit money has increased. I don;t see why it needed one, the smell of cooked rodent should have been enough. Also, why did it not explode? I think some testing needs to be done on why mice explode in microwave but hamsters don't.

Kehhlyr you may want to move your graphic warning to the top of your post, some of us browse the forum over dinner...

All these cases are equally horrific :,(
