He took his time, he stuck the middle of it, looked like he was going to take it down the wrong way, but then wrapped himself around it for 30 seconds before finding it's head.
Fascinating! |

She's much more sedate nowadays as she feeds in a rub - but not half as much fun! |

Posted - 06/09/2010 : 17:48:43 It's quite awesome to watch isn't it, especially the first time you see it. Oh dear BATS, now I have visions of your snake bungee jumping!!!! |

Posted - 06/09/2010 : 17:21:09 haha thats hillarious with the bungee jumping snake! Izzy was attempting to do that last night but I wasn't having it cos I had a nice little lunchbox set up in the corner set up for her to feed in. |

Posted - 06/09/2010 : 16:41:30 It's incredible when they do that - couldn't believe it when my lot started doing it. Neither could they - on at least one occasion it was: Omg! Where's me mouse gone! (Frantic search ensued!) And as for the time one swung by her tail from the viv ceiling, constricted and bounced back up to the ceiling like a bungee jumper ... well ...
If you want a good vid for how feeding could be from now on, check out 'Creamsicle corn going crazy' on youtube (sorry - don't know how to post links.)

Izzy hadn't done it the last couple of feeds but the one last night was fantastic! She was completely wrapped around the mouse and had to untie herself to get to the head! |
