ive had vinnie for a number of weeks now and he is a darling wen i change the water he dosent move so now probs with him escaping but these past few 7days im getting dead paranoid bout him escaping i often wake up in the night searching my room becuase i think he has got out now i do sleep walk and talk quite a lot but last night was strange i thought that id took vinnie out of his tank and put him on my light and fan in my room and that he had got into the fan itself so i stood on my bed and started to search this light though it didnt rtake long for me to realise he is still in his tank
so has any one had these odd moments

Haha great post.
Just last night I dreamt that my step dad had left Doyle's tank open purposely so he would escape.
The other night I woke up in a panic thinking my head phone wires were doyle crawling out of his tank onto my face, because his tank is next to my head.

and rightly said 'We're all nutters' :D

ah yeah my girlfriends always talking rubbish to me in her sleep! She doesn't sleepwalk any more so hopefully I don't have to worry about her going to get Izzy out! She did wake up the other night and ask where Izzy had go to; apparently she dreamt that she was in bed with her!

apparently ive shouted at luke in my sleep before accusing him of leaving the lids open so zero could escape.. whoops!

Think yourself lucky with the sleepwalking thing though..a friend of a friend sleepwalks and somehow managed to fall out of a window and break her back in two places..

I know just how you feel - most nights I get up around 4am to check on all the beasties or I wake up in a panic and have to check on everyone in case I've done something wrong ...

It's a sign that you care - can get a bit wearing though, I agree!

ps You know the thread you wrote re not shedding for a while - my Cy, whose eating and shedding patterns were similar, has gone blue today - I bet Vinnie's not far behind!

I can imagine it being worrying, when I had freshwater crabs I was checking constantly to see if any had disappeared because they were great at always escaping! I am sure you will relax after a little while! :)
