His talk isn't big. He's just tall =P ha.

He's definitely the biggest big softie I've ever known =]

So he stilll cringes, for all his big talk??

(Bless him, big softy!)
Scarlett Posted - 30/08/2010 : 21:13:42
Haha, my OH is nothing like that. Usually if he spots a moth he screams "Kill it with fire!" and hides under the duvet. Oh dear! lol.

I get rid of them for my mum, and I'm sure that when my OH and I move out it'll be me, not my 6"10 giant of a man, that gets rid of them. Sigh.

Hah! Been there done that! Built like a brick whatsit, and it was, 'uh, SPIDER in the bath ...' cringe cringe ... men!

I see what you mean (just googled it.)

You couldn't flush that down the plughole in a hurry!

Not that I would ... aww, poor spide ...
drchino Posted - 30/08/2010 : 17:12:24
haha it could have been sizing me up! Although he wasn't quite as big as the Golden Orb I came face to face with in Thailand earlier in the year! I had no idea spiders could get so big!
BurnedAtTheStake Posted - 30/08/2010 : 16:30:40
....And there was me, perched up on me stool, nekkid as a jaybird ...with a studio full of cool laid back art students freaking out ... and that was just the boys ...
Twi Posted - 30/08/2010 : 16:06:36
omg ewww i'd have died if that was in my bathroom this one was big enough haha
BurnedAtTheStake Posted - 30/08/2010 : 15:19:36
Ooooohhhh! That's a very fine specimen! Nice one! It reminds me of the time when I worked in an art college as a model and one like that came out and trotted across the floor. You could HEAR its toes clicking on the lino ... honest!

Bedroom, eh? You know, it was probably sizing you up!
drchino Posted - 30/08/2010 : 03:25:35
I found this working it's way towards my bedroom the other day!

Oh, sorry, edit, replying to Thante,

Just be glad slugs don't have wings. I mean, can you imagine them, flubbering round at night and going ssssssssssss on the lightbulb??

that would be horrid !! they would drip everywhere ewww
my worst nightmare is someoe puting a lug in my belly button haha.

Yeah, but it wouldn't fit, would it? Mind you, it would be all cold and slimy - not nice!

If there's anything I dislike it's those damn daddy longlegs flies- they always aim straight for your forehead. The cats are good at catching them - trouble is, they put them down carefully to play with, and the dratted things zoom off again! And if you catch one and put it out it comes straight back in again to play ... I should just harden my heart and go crunch!

Hey Hannah, it's more scared of you than you are of it!

I mean, like, it's not going to murder you ....
HannahB Posted - 28/08/2010 : 18:30:20
i leave all things with an unusual and plain wrong amount of legs for luke to deal with.. the last spider we had in the room was a nightmare..i could see it moving along the wall and it took luke 4 attempts to get it with some tissue.. i was nearly climbing the walls trying to get away from it - especially when it fell down the back of the bed and towards my foot =|

urgh cant stand them!

Haaah, women are stronger - when I was married it was always me who had to get the spider out of the bath!
