So I'm sat up at this horrible time of night waiting for Alice to shed and I'm sure he is enjoying keeping me guessing. He popped his head out of his hide for about half an hour then disappeared back in again. Now he is back out again just about the first 4inchs of him and he is just laid there. I'm sure he is just waiting for me to go out of the room or get engrossed in something. I have had a packet of crisps and have a nice cuppa at the side of me. Been to the loo so I'm in for the night now. Although the scrummy choccy cake that I made for my sons birthday is in serious danger of being smaller by morning |

Ah that sounds lovely =] I haven't seen Ember shed from start to finish, but I usually find her halfway through and even that's amazing! I was amazed last night watching Loki drink for the first time, so no, you're not sad lol. |

That's not sad - it's marvellous! Isn't it incredible when they first start nuzzling their chin on something, and the skin comes off and dangles like a bib, and then the top bit of head pops off like a bonnet before snakey gets down to the serious business of walking out of the rest of the skin. I'm really cross I missed Saffy till she was halfway out. (I should have done as you did and stuck to tea!)
