one of my 4 bearded dragons is off to the vets today, not had them long got them cheap as more of a rescue project.
she is a non feeder, and is massively skinny, only way to make her eat is force feeding, and she now has an eye infection of some description.
we took her to the vets yesterday to have a check up and see if it was impaction which it isnt, and today is some special food (liquid) as the vet believes its an nutritional problem, as she is very inactive.
really hoping as its not a bone disease coming on as this can happen.
if the liquid force feeding has no effect the vet said she can install a stomach tube for direct feeding and failing that unfortunately its going to be sleep time.
her appointment is 1:30 today.
we have named her hope.
