I agree stay out of it I lost 2 very good friend due to a situation like this 6 years ago and I still wish I said nothing as the messenger does get shot all the time even tho you think your doing the right thing.

I say stay out of it, you won't get thanked for it. Your brother needs to fight his own battles, even if he loses.
It's always best to stay out of peoples relationships, especially family ones.

yeahh :/ think your absolutely right tbh cuz in away it already felt awkward cuz its like best mate nd brother lol xx

i agree too, if she is your mate, when you speak to her she should understand, just explain to her that you dont want anyone to get hurt or for there to be tension between the three of you in the future, i personally think the more you let it go on the harder it will be for you to confront anyone.

thanks nd yeahh my mum tried out that rule :/ wish she brought it back in lmaoo nd yeahh will doo cuz ive always been brought up so that in my eyes family does come first but its just a really horrible nd sticky situation to be in tbhh :/ xx
lizzyd Posted - 14/08/2010 : 23:19:23
I agree with Whitedog...speak to your mate. Then be there for your brother if he needs you.
I have three brothers and a sister but we had a rule in our house. No dating each others mates. Cos if you do sooner or later you end up losing your friends.
Its a horrible situation to be in and i really hope it works out for you. x

n/a Posted - 14/08/2010 : 23:04:28
Thats usually what happens.....
n/a Posted - 14/08/2010 : 22:59:48
yeahh cuz tbhh i bet if i did tell him then i would probably get the blame for everything nd lose both of them :/ xx
n/a Posted - 14/08/2010 : 22:57:09
i would say speak to your mate about it, tell her if she does like someone else then to finish it with your bro or you'll tell him yourself.......itwould be better for him if it comes from her.

Sorry, I typed that post while you and Stotty01 had already started discussing problem - don't want to seem as if I'd jumped in and disagreed just for the sake of it! Sorry again (me and my big mouth!)

kk thanks alot :) xx

That's a bad one ... my gut feeling would be to say absolutely nothing, although I realise that may be hard.

I'm a newcomer here so I don't know if this is okay to say, but I think you're better discussing this problem with people (like us) who aren't involved, and airing your feelings here, while letting Matt and Kate work things out by themselves.

All the best and good luck.
