Hissin-Sid has just moved up onto crawler mice. For the last couple of feeds he's been taking two fluffs at a time with hardly any bump at all. I decided it was probably time to go up a size. I fed him earlier today on a crawler mouse which he took ok. I've put him back in his viv and now I'll keep my fingers crossed all will be fine! Will just check every so often to make sure he's ok but I'm quietly confident.....  |

i go to cambridge reptiles it's at hardwick near cambridge. atm i don't have any digital scales, some clever person broke mine, so i cant weigh mice, snake or anything!! have put some on my birthday wishlist!! |

The crawler mice i feed reggie and rocky are between 5-9g is that a similar size or don't you weigh your mice?
The place where i get mine from stock them as pinkies, fluffs, crawlers,hoppers, and im not sure what else but fluffs are small fuzzies, crawlers regular/large fuzzies and the hoppers are the small mice i think. |

lol, naughty, naughty!!! same as the place I go. much better than off the internet where you end up with various sizes and wonder how they can all be the 'same' catagory!!!  |

the pet shop i go to you get to serve yourself when you pick out the frozen mice, so you can pick what size you want, how many you want and everything, it's usually 6 quid for 10 small mice althogh i sometimes slip the odd 1 in and they don't know. |

Without seeing what size Monty has I'm not sure. Even mice in the same size catagory differ so much don't they. Makes it all a bit hit 'n' miss unless you hand pick which ones you want!!
I'd say the one Sids had today was about 2cms across if that helps. [;p} |

They are small mice I think, the next size up from fuzzies. I think different places have different names for them. It gets a bit confusing!! |

he should be fine if you have been feeding 2 fuzzies, what are crawler mice as monty was on fuzzies and then went up to small mice |
