reason was she is the same colour as the shelby gt500 in gone in 60 seconds. but the wifey thinks its girly and im trying to pursuade her into liking it. |

While no name is a bad name for a snake... well maybe there are enough 'Sid,s' out there,] I don't think you would go wrong looking through wikipedia etc for snakes in religion/culture and find something ancient and timeless that catches your imagination.
Or ignore me completely and go for 'Fluffy' |
