Posted - 12/06/2010 : 12:42:32 I just went down pets at home and they've got this awesome fish tank log with holes in it I guess it's so the fish can swim through it or whatever but it's got some plants on the top of it aswell.

This is kinda what it looks like
I think its made out of 'durable polyresin' like the rest of their stuff, I was just wondering if this'd be safe to use and if i'd have to sand down the edges.

Can't wait til my snakies bigger his new viv is gonna look awesome.

Posted - 12/06/2010 : 12:53:04 That looks rather cool. I've got some driftwood in Sids viv and it's not sanded down. It's quite a soft wood so I reckoned it would be ok as long as there are no really sharp pointed bits. I did the normal bleach, rinse loads and leave in the hot sun for a few days, before I put it in the viv. Sidney loves his, lays on top sometimes and burrows underneath too. Personally if you like it I'd go for it.  |
