I currently don't have a rack and need to move monty into a bigger viv/RUB. Would putting a RUB straight ontop of another RUB be ok as long as the heat mat under each one is carefully monitored?

And has anyone done this?

The foil stops the heat going into the bottom viv which can alter the temps. All depends how thick the plastic is as to how much heat will get through, I done it to be on the safe side. Also if your mat goes wrong or your stat does its another bot of protection.

I've done this, I didn't faff with foil or anything, worked a treat. My RUB was ontop of a viv, and then the heatmat for the top rub was ontop of the middle rub.

Sounds perfect, thanks :)

I done this and what I done was get a piece of card and cover it in foil. Put that on the top of the bottom rub, then the heatmat then the top rub. Never had a problem!
