i handle kasey most days (apart from 48 hours after feeding obviously)for about 15-30 mins but i've had him for over a year. i got squidward at the end of march and have been handling him about 2-3 times a week for about 10 mins. i've gradually increased this since since i started handling him and eventually hope to be able to handle him as much as kasey. he's still quite jumpy and nervous tho so i tend to go for quality not quanity and take the lead from him. if your corn seems quite happy to be handled more often and for longer periods of time then go with this. if, however, she's a little nervous just start off slow and gradually increase handling frequency and time. all i can really suggest is to go what feels comfortable for you and what you snake seems happy with. they all vary and some will handle no problem whereas others aren't so keen. if you take things slowly and gently, you'll both get used to it and should come to be something you both enjoy. sorry i cant be of more help, im no expert but just thought id share my experience. good luck!

Handling: Corn Snakes are quite active snakes and will appreciate time outside the vivarium to exercise. Care should be taken to avoid dropping your Corn Snake whilst handling, so support your Corn Snake at all times. Approximately 10-15 minutes 3-4 times a week is a suitable amount of time for handling your Corn Snake, but this may vary depending on the particular snake. Some Corn Snakes will appreciate more time outside the vivarium, while others may shy away from regular handling.

From this sites caresheet. :)
